Fred Siegel

As Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of CONEX Incorporated Fred has directed a diversified domestic and international executive recruitment practice since 1980.

He is listed in John Sibbald’s book The Career Makers as one of the nation’s top 150 recruiters and can frequently be seen on CNN for his expertise in both domestic and international recruitment.

Fred is former Dean of Career Development and Associate Dean of the Graduate School of Business Administration for New York University.
He also served as Assistant to the Mayor of New York City and is a former Price Waterhouse accountant. Fred has worked on senior level search assignments such as President of the New York Stock Exchange, Executive Director of the American Cancer Society, President of the Foreign Policy Association, etc. His clients range from mid-size to Fortune 50 companies as well as start-ups during their critical periods of change.

Fred is a founder of one of the world’s largest recruitment organizations. He is also founder and Managing Partner of Human Asset Partners, LLC (HAP), a consulting firm assisting clients in leadership development, performance motivation, change and crisis management, business intelligence, recruitment, organizational assessment, enhancement of business processes and the creation of advisory boards.

Declan Maguire

Declan has been Senior Partner at CONEX since 2002. Prior, he was Executive Vice President and served on the board of one of the nation’s largest executive recruitment practices. Declan has successfully completed assignments for C-level positions in marketing, sales, investor relations, legal, engineering, human resources, operations and finance. His wide range of mid-size to Fortune 100 clients include companies in high technology, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing and consumer goods.

Declan’s early career was focused on information technology. He spent 11 years with Rainsford Computing in Ireland and the UK, developing and implementing computer based financial, commercial and engineering systems. He later held key marketing and venture investment positions at Guinness in Europe. In 1986 Declan moved to the U.S. as Group Marketing Director for Guinness USA, and later became Imports Director for United Distillers USA (now part of Diageo). In 1995 he moved to Cablevision Systems to direct sales and marketing for the cable subscriber business, as well as the rollout of broadband and telephonic services.
